Washington Physical Therapy

We believe that successful treatment is based on patient-focused care.  Our patients guide the direction of treatment by telling us what goals they want to achieve.

Want to play tennis again? Return to yoga class? Walk up/down the stair without pain?  Get down to the floor to play with your kids/grandkids? Sleep through the night?

Your goals matter to us.

Your treatment plan is designed with these goals in mind to help you return to the things you love.

How do we do that?  Easy...we are a privately-owned, local, small business.  That means we can take the time to provide personal attention to each patient.  From therapists who care about the people in our community that we serve, your experience at WAPT won't feel like the typical hospital or chain PT clinic that you may have experienced elsewhere.

At Washington Physical Therapy we believe in safe, non-invasive, and natural healing options to help people return to normal and get back the life they want to live.

We are conveniently located in the Bridle Trails/Houghton area of Kirkland and provide a central location to serve patients in Kirkland, Bellevue, Redmond, Bothell, Woodinville, Seattle, and beyond.

A Little History:

Founded in 1997, Washington Physical Therapy has been the premier destination for orthopedic and sports medicine on the Eastside. For two decades we have helped thousands of athletes and patients achieve their goals of health, fitness, and recovery.

Over the years we have had the pleasure of working with the Seattle Sounders, Seattle Thunderbirds, numerous fire departments, and the Washington State Firefighter Academy.

Our staff members have guest lectured at schools, Google, the City of Kirkland, pension boards, traveled to Las Vegas to work with professional fighters, filmed a video for firefighters about back injuries, and even written a book.

What Kirkland, WA Thinks About Physical Therapy Services

  • Allegra and Mike were always extremely helpful kind and it was always a fun experience! The customer service was always wonderful and welcoming, I would highly recommend!

  • Cumulative injuries over time resulted in signs of peripheral neuropathy, with numbness in my hands, arms, legs, and feet plus sleep deprivation.  Several weeks of WAPT work resulted in resolution of all signs and symptoms, with full restoration of physical abilities.

  • Mike sponsored a free workshop on shoulder issues which was highly informative. They also provide a free consultation to help figure out if they can work through your issues with PT. I was hoping to avoid the expense of going to a specialist and all the costly scans and procedures that usually don't solve the problem. It turns out that they could help me and after 1 month I have significantly less shoulder pain and more mobility in my shoulder. I feel confident that when I "graduate" I will be able to manage my continued progress on my own because they have given me the tools to do so. Everyone at WPT is wonderful it has been a great experience and really, really worked for me.

  • I've have been coming to see Cindy for Physical Therapy for many years. I've had problems with my neck, shoulder, a knee replacement, and back care.  She has always helped get back to normal and be pain-free. I even came to her when I felt like my balance was an issue while exercising and she helped me work on that too. In addition many years ago Cindy provided physical therapy for my husband when he was in cancer care.  Cindy is a great listener and uses very good explanations to help me understand what is going on with my body and why.  I highly recommend this office and the staff!
